My go-to was the Lotus Exige for its ability to make really hard grip turns and to not waste too much time on run-ups since it can get down to a 2.0 0-100k/h. Speedruns and speedtraps are mostly down to preference. Max drift is always recommended for the fishtail method so that you don't lose too much speed on straights. The only thing to look out for at that point is the time limits that can be pretty harsh, so that's when you'll wanna tune a little differently if you have trouble. Idk why but that still counts as drifting. The ideal method is to do full drifts and then maintain a fishtail by repeatedly overcorrecting and not hitting the brake so you don't lose speed. The off-road build is because most jumps have long dirt paths you need to follow and i found it easier as a catch-all build.īuilding specific drift cars is ideal for drift events and zones but my F150 also worked on most off-road ones. You only gotta add DF on specific jumps when there's some type of ceiling you'll hit. My go-to for them was an off-road F-150 with minimum downforce. I found that heavier rides make long jumps far far easier.
